With SportsTrackLive (STL), we offer you a simple tool to push the boundaries of adventure and competition. Our challenges are designed to train you, inspire you, and entertain you.

Whether you're a seasoned athlete or an enthusiastic practitioner, our challenges offer something accessible to everyone. Join a challenge to have fun and reach new heights or forge memories with your friends.

How to participate in challenges?

Anyone can participate in STL challenges simply by using our mobile applications or by adding Tracks (activities) to their account. You can add a Track to your account by uploading a file containing GPS coordinates with timestamps, but the simplest way is still to use our mobile application to record your activities in real-time. If you use a Garmin or Suunto watch connected to your STL account, you don't have to do anything. Just make sure the category recorded on your watch matches the wanted challenge.

A single activity can qualify you for multiple challenges at once. You can find links to all the challenges you've participated in on your user page.

How to be ranked in a challenge?

A challenge includes a series of waypoints that you must reach in a defined order. To be ranked, you must have reached at least 30% of the defined waypoints in the correct order during your activity. Your total time and distance will be recorded and compared to those of other participants.

How to create a challenge?

To create a challenge, use our route editor. You can define mandatory and specify which activity category it will be attached to. Once created, share it with the STL community so others can participate.

How is this different from Strava segments?

STL challenges are designed to be more than just a race against the clock. They emphasize navigation, strategy, or endurance, offering a more complete, sometimes more engaging experience.

Unlike Strava© segments that primarily focus on speed over a specific section, our challenges incorporate varied route elements, mandatory checkpoints, and changing conditions that test a broader range of skills.
