Vancouver Marathon Training Week 7, Long Run
Bam! Fourteen miles just like that. Something happened to my pace around mile eight... I went from an approximate 8m20s mile to a 7m50s mile. I don't know if it was that Honey Stinger Waffle I had after I hit mile seven (it does have a picture of Lance Armstrong on it... so maybe there's a little extra "juice" in it), but whatever it was, it felt awesome! Even when I finished, I wasn't exhausted. I could have kept running!
Oh, and the Darigold Refuel Chocolate Milk after the run was perfect. Other than a little soreness in my legs, I almost can't tell I just ran fourteen miles!
